PAYG to pre pay and vice versa

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi.

I have a contract that my Nan uses. She is happy with her phone and wants to keep her number, but wants to go to payg.

My son has a payg and wants to go to pre pay. Is there anyway I can just swap the numbers over. Neither of them want to lose their numbers

Contract due to end 27 Jan 2016

TIA

You can't just swap the numbers to the different tariffs but you can change the tariffs individually which will keep the numbers.
Call cs on 202 and they should be able to sort it for you.

If the minimum term has ended then you can go down to a sim only tariff

You Nan's number you can change it to PAYM at anytime.

Regarding your son's line, you will need to be out of Contract. On Vodafone you have to give 30 days notice. Someone with better knowledge of O2 will be able to confirm whether it can be done immediately or 30 days notice needed.

Contract ended 27th Jan so both can be done immediately.
30 days will be charged to final bill unless o2 contract is used for 30 days (but either way you pay for it).
