O2 More Texts won’t stop even though i’m opted out

Anonymous
Not applicable
I keep receiving o2 more texts and offers even after repeatedly sending “stop” to 20502 as instructed.
I’ve also checked my preferences in My O2 and it says i’m opted out of My O2 promotions.
None of the texts are ever relevant to me and are very irritating, how can I get them
to stop?

It takes upto a month for them to stop but you can also register your number with TPS Online.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Anonymous You can also block the numbers texting you. Most phones have a call/text blocker, but if you don't, there are apps that will do it.

I’ve been trying to get them to stop for over a year with no luck, and my number has been registered with TPS since 2012.

It's easy enough to block the numbers yourself on your phone. Just long press the number in your call log and the option to block should be there.

I'd suggest an official complaint to get them to notice https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain
