From the article, it appears to be a low end phone. Probably aimed for a stocking filler.

I wonder how much they mean by budget smartphone? Their idea of budget may not be mine...:smileywink:

Oh @Bambino  In my day a 'stocking filler' meant two oranges, an apple, some nuts and two shillings....

and if I was very lucky...a set of hankies...LOL

The current low end Nokia-Microsoft phone is the Lumia 530. Retails at £60 and above on PAYG.

 

Hopefully new phone wil replace the 530. As the 530 has notable deficiencies. (no front camera, no flash, poor battery). But to be honest for £60 I would not grumble about the 530.
