Can anyone tell me if it's possible to install android apps onto the Nokia Lumia 735 using play store?

Thanks guys. Google did email me back to say it wasn't possible to use android apps. Thanks guys. Its a bit annoying when I can't use banking apps etc. Thanks guys

At the moment the only apps you can install are the ones from the dedicated store for WP.
Sideloading may come in the future but not a current option unfortunately....

I may be wrong, but at the moment I believe BlackBerry 10 phones are the only phones you can install apps designed for another operating system, ie Android apps from the Amazon App Store, or the Google Play store via a sideloaded app called Snap.

Unfortunately one current downside to using a Windows Phone is the less choice of Apps at the moment. 😒

New apps are coming all the time as the OS develops so keep and eye the app store.

Take that up with your bank then.

 

I'm a happy Windows phone user & my bank has a official Windows phone app.
