Nokia Lumia 820 - Charging covers.

Hi,

I've just got this phone as an upgrade and I'm a bit confused. I was told in the shop that I'd be given a leaflet to get my free cover which will work with the charging plate, so I could pick the colour I want. I did my ugrade online and I've just got my phone. But now im confused. The phone with the case it came in, in the box works with the charging plate. My invoice states I should have a cover redemption leaflet to order my cover, but I don't.

So can anyone who has this phone tell me what they had when they got the phone? Did you have an ordinary black cover, or is the chargable black cover standard with the handset?  Because im confused whether I've just been given my 'free' cover or if I'm missing the redemption leaflet.

I tried asking the online guru's who weren't any help, just kept saying contact the returns team (I don't want the return the phone), and they don't know how they're sending these phones out to their customers. :S 

If any one can offer some advice I'd be grateful as the staff in my local o2 shop are a bit hopeless and I don't want to waste my lunch breaks on hold to get a simple answer.

If they have just sent me my 'free' cover in the boring black, can any one recommend a place to buy the additional covers? I've only found them on Amazon at the moment.

My friend recently picked up this phone and it also came with the black cover but it did have a leaflet for choosing additional ones.

I think your best bet is to phone CS on 202(pay monthly)and speak to them about it. It might if been an instore only deal ill try and find the offer online and get back to you.

There's other better places to buy them but as O2 sell them I don't think I can link you here. Ill pm you

Thank for the advice, I've got it sorted now. I don't think they really knew. The guy I spoke to thought I'd get the colour option online, when I explained that there wasn't and the order invoice states I should get this mysterious redemption leaflet. He then did some checking and it seems I've just been given a chargeable black one rather than the standard cover with redemption leaflet. So free cover information is on its way to me.
