The Blue: Five best apps to get you cooking up a storm

Hi guys!

I hope you all had enjoyed the weekend!!

I know that @Toby sometimes shares with you interesting articles that he finds on The Blue. Today is my turn Bouncy

The team have created a great article on The Blue, they've chosen five of the best cooking apps that will help you do everything from finding the best produce to sharpening up your knife skills.

Do we have any chefs in the community?

Below you can find the one I found more useful for myself, go to The Blue to check the rest!

Best for choosing what to cook – Allrecipies.com Dinner Spinner

We’ve all stood with the fridge door open, struggling to think of what to make. The Dinner Spinner was made for this very occasion. Search the app’s collection of 40,000 recipes listing the ingredients you have in the fridge, or use the spinner feature – shake your smartphone and the app will select a random ingredient and dish type to find a recipe.

Available on: iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Windows Phone
Cost: Free

food app

Which one do you guys find more useful? Do you know any other cooking apps?

Enjoy!

I tried using my phone once during cooking. All I wanted was to convert lbs to kg. I ended up dropping my phone in a pot of stew. Decided not to use my phone for that.

My ipad however is so useful for cooking. I love the cutting board app! (Jokes. Please don't actually do this)

I'll give that Allrecipies.com Dinner Spinner a go.

Cooking apps @Anonymous ??? You must be joking surely...

With my level of culinary skill, I have no need for such things...pfffftttt  Smiley Very Happy

.....or more truthfully i would never take anything costly like a phone or tablet into the kitchen.... near water, or waste bins, or hot cooking appliances.....LOL
