"Samsung launches first Tizen phone"

"Samsung Electronics has launched the world's first smartphone powered by the Tizen operating system."

My thoughts ;

Would this mean Samsung are losing faith in Android or just testing the waters with this ?

I would suspect @Anonymous that is more to do with getting the contract for this phone in Russia?

The article doesn't mention it being sold anywhere else at present?

(Losing faith in Android indeed!) Smiley Very Happy

Possibly a 'watch this space' scenario @Cleoriff

I like the android platform if truth be told but like anything else thus may shake the market up if it ever came to these shores !

Long live Android. wink
