Breaking news. Debbie Reynolds has died tonight. A day after her daughter Carrie Fisher.
R.I.P Debbie

Tragic and no doubt caused by a mother's grief for her daughter. A megastar of the 50s and 60s and a truly beautiful lady. It must be heartbreaking for son Todd to lose his mother and sister within 24 hours.
RIP Debbie

The first person I thought of was Carrie's daughter Billie who lost her Mum and grandmother...
According to this article ...Debbie was planning Carrie's funeral when she suffered the stroke. Absolutely tragic

For anyone who remembers Singing in the Rain, Debbie was 19 when she appeared in that film...

I think she was probably the first love of any male my age in the late 50s, early 60s....

I keep looking at this photo @Bambino ... & ... may I say it's very evocative, if that's the right word ... it's the one I'll remember along with Debbie as posted by @jonsie above ^ ^ ^ & of course Carrie as Princess Leia
RIP Debbie, RIP Carrie
