Texting a short code text number

I recently moved to o2 and I notice that I am unable to text a short code text number which I previously could

for example to enter a radio competition

any idea how I can get this corrected

It could be a zero spend cap is interfering - that needs a call to O2 to change. I'll tag an O2 advisor @O2Sarah- to help.
