Had an email from O2 the other day promoting the iPads on Refresh waiving the £99 upfront cost. So decided to opt in for 2! (One for me, one for the wife so no conflict lol).

Only went for the 16GB iPad Airs with cellular. But thought I'd drop a note to say how pleased I am with them and the service from O2 in obtaining them. Quick, easy and painless.

Yes, I have 4 contracts now. 2 Note 3's and 2 iPads. But definitely worth it and glad I went for iPad with cellular!

I can't understand those who slate Tu Go either. When you use it on a separate device to your phone (like it was designed) it works like a dream!

Hello all, this is my first post in the community. I got the same email about the iPad offer and I thought I should go first to store and not wait for the delivery. Well, they informed me there that you can purchase the ipad through this deal only online or calling the customer services, otherwise I would have to pay the upfront cost. So, I ordered it online and after I completed the whole process, I received a text saying that they are out of stock... A bit annoying situation...

We've heard the all too familiar story from other people taking up the offer.

I can't understand why you cannot take up this deal in store , did they say why ?

At least you were told they we're out of stock.... Others weren't so lucky....

It's not unusual for any companies to have online deals only these days......

True ,but this just isn't customer friendly.

The OP went through the order process and then after competing received the text.

It should have said at the beginning of placing the order that they didn't have them available 😞

The O2 stores have them In stock.

Let's hope the OP's order comes in to stock as quickly as the other person this happened to.

I've said this on other threads but if something is clearly shown as being in stock at point of order only for it not to be, it is the kind of thing that the ASA will investigate
