moved house and have no signal want to leave but have 12 months left on contract

ive relocated and I have no signal, i have followed the steps to check coverage and although they say the signal for 2g is fine, it isnt, we have confirmation from previous owner that they had to change to a different provider as there was no signal and O2 agreed with this and yet the signal checker is saying its fine - has anyone had any experience with this?  I am not happy paying for a contract that I can not use.

Thanks

You will have to pay off the rest of your device plan & move to a network that gives you proper coverage in your area I guess

Sorry to say, but this isn't O2's responsibility. You chose to move. Signal checkers are just general to an area. They're not specific. It's highly unlikely that O2 will release you fom your contract.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Hi @Anonymous Check your network status here

http://status.o2.co.uk/

If you want to complain then use this link http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

Though as said the only way to get out of your contract is to pay it off and move to another provider.

Incidentally have you thought of using TuGo? http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/tu-go

You can't cancel for free, you need to pay off the handset first.
