Yeah this whole S5 thing seems to be a bit strange.
I also Pre Ordered it with the assumption I'd have it on release day, yet my friend walked in on the weekend and got it without ordering at all..
O2 should at least provide an ETA or annouce when we can expect to receive the phone. If I'd known they would be like this, I'd have not ordered...

I got one of thoes yesterday too, thought I'd wait for it, but the delivery slot has now come and gone....and no sign yet...O2 seem happy though as the links now says..."Order status Complete"
