can anyone tell me how i can report lost payg phone when i log on to 02 all i get is come back between 7am-11pm by that time all my credit will prob be used need to get phone blocked asap and sim replaced am starting toget really annoyed now as been tryng for well over an hour to find answer

Hi

You need to call 4445 from any phone with an O2 SIM card in it or call them from a landline 0344 8090222

O2 Official Link http://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-and-devices/lost-or-stolen-device#qs

They can then block the phone and de activate your SIM card and Payg account.

Or use Live Chat http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

O2 will send you a replacement Sim Card. When you receive it be sure then to ring them back to have the block lifted off your Payg account.

Perhaps check any Home Contents Insurance and or Bank Account as some offer Mobile Phone Cover. Excess fee's would probably apply. You would also need to call the Police to report the loss and obtain a Crime Reference Number for the claim.

If you had any passwords stored in the phone etc then think about changing them.

Hi Thanks,

Managed to contact 02 last night reported phone lost they put a stop to it but need to contact cust serv after 8am to request new sim and to get balance trans to new sim think mybe 02 page last night was being pain kept telling me phone after 7am eventual managed to get them tho
