Hi, My number is due to be transferred over tomorrow. Do I put the new SIM card in my phone in the morning or night before?

i have just received my pac code from my old provider. i have no idea where to activate it on the o2 app. i see there is a bit saying activate sim?

I agreed broadband through virgin media and got a SIM card for my daughter. We agreed 100gb, but when the email from the order came through it is only 50gb?How do I contact O2 to fix this? Thanks
