I hope that I made the difference clear between updating your operating system and updating your browser. 

If you want step-by-step instructions posting on this forum as to how to check safely and securely for browser updates, please say so and tag me in. I will need to know what browser you want guidance on, and what gadget it is running on - say something like "Google Chrome running on my Samsung Galaxy A54" or whatever.  

Even if you decide not to do it on this occasion, it is a useful process to be aware of.

Having had a sleep on things .....& ..... knowing myself as I do ..... It would contribute to me becoming somewhat 'ILL' if we did as you suggest ... ... ... 

May I Suggest the following: ... ... ...  

Perhaps you write a ... 'Guide to Updating *so & so*' ... referring to your sources, of course.

This way it would be a useful thing for others to view / wider impact on O2 Community and to ask you questions ... ?
