I have just bought a one-off data allowance. It doesn't show on my phone
- the original 2GB limit shows under "data usage" and I am worried it
will cut off access when I reach that 2 GB limit. To check I have tried

MyO2 is still showing my old phone as the device. Number has been
switched to new phone and I am getting emails relating to new phone, and
MyO2 has correct details with regard to order, payment etc for new
phone. I don't think I can change this?

Meant to add that I have reset the data limit notification on the phone
but I got a warning text from O2 warning me I was approaching the
previous, lower, limit even though I'd had one acknowledging the uplift.
I have changed the device name as you suggest but if I go to "My O2
products and services" it still shows the old phone (I have signed out
and signed in again). Call them - are you having a laugh ? A myriad of
options, none of which is appropriate. L...
I found that form confusing for the reasons I stated (same network,
different provider) BUT luckily MyO2 had not updated the phone so it was
still listed and I could just request an unlock code which worked, so
sorted due to O2 inefficiency! Thanks
