Sorry thought I had replied. Went to O2 shop and the guy spent 20 minutes trying to solve the problem. After doing some research on the internet found that this was a Nokia problem. So will just have to put up with it.

Have been on to o2 who have managed to sort out the problem, it was something to do with the TU GO App

Just found out if you go into Play Store, press the three dots at the top and chose settings you can turn off automatic updates for your apps in the Nexus 7. Will try this out the next time I am roaming.

Just discovered my Nexus 7 tablet was most likely downloading app updates and this used up the allowance quick. I was using my phone as a slave to the tablet. As of yet I have not figured out how to stop the tablet updating when roaming.
