Usain Bolt ran 100 meters in 9.5 seconds. On our 4G trial you could download a video of it on your mobile in less than 0.5 seconds. Impressive right? Have a look at the video (http://www.o2.co.uk/network/future) and share any thoughts you may have!

Wouldn't it be better to improve the 3G reception first? Plus what happened to the 3.5G network???

Would be better if they put  a 3G mast in my area! Think all the operators skipped over the 3.5G thing in the UK.

why invest in a technology that will be outdated .

But o2 are still deploying 3g and 3g900.

I guess that as part of the major network upgrade that is taking part accross the whole country by 2 seperate hardware suppliers we will all see changes (new kit can be just upgraded to new frequencies / technologies by software upgrade)

I've already got 3G at both 2100 and 900 but simply can't get the data speeds unless I move out of my home location.

Not sure this is the response the Media Team were expecting but the 3G coverage in my area is pretty dire! Fix 3G in this area before worrying about 4G.

would be nice to just get a decent signal in my house. I get no better than 3 bars on 2g and a lot of the time just get "no service". If I leave the house and go 20 yards up the street I get 3g!

I have the same problem but even outdoors 3G is pretty weak with 2 bars at the best of times and sometimes none at all. Wonder if O2 will put a transmitter in my garden?...or release the boost box, surely the extensive testing should be completed by now!
