my phone screen has failed and I cannot read anything from it. Can you unlock my 'old'phone to enable me to use my telephone number while I get my usual phone repaired/replaced

O2 can only unlock an O2 phone Guide: Unlocking an O2 phone to use a different SIM card

If it's locked to a different network, they will need to unlock it for you.
