iPhone 12 sound

I cannot hear anyone when having phone calls or listening to voicemails. I have the volume on full and have to have it on loud speaker to hear them. I’ve only had the phone since February

Check that the mic is clean of dirt or fluff.

Then I think you should speak to Apple support

I have the same problem. Since upgrading to IOS17 no sound on outgoing and incoming calls. I've taken the phone into Apple and they said it needs a new parts and wanted to charge me over £300 for a repair.  The phone works fine on Messenger and wifi calling. Apple have asked me if there are any known issues with compatibility on O2. Are there ?

No known compatibility issues with O2.

If possible try you O2 SIM in another phone.

It could be a SIM or Account problem
