I’ve just got an o2 sim for my iPad. It will not take the sim. It’s says, sim not supported. The iPad network is o2. I need o2 go unlock it

but makes no sense if it is an O2 device.
If not, you need the network that locked it to unlock it.

Would you get that error if you insert a non data only sim @MI5 or is it more likely there is an issue with the sim?

That does not make sense. You seem to suggest that it is an O2 iPad with an O2 SIM. That can't be correct
