dual sim

I have just purchased a samsung A71 pay monthly

I transfered the sim from a deceased galaxy s7 - also pay monthly

So far so good. It works.

I also have an aging galaxy s6, PAYG

I decided to take advantage of the dual sim in the A71, but it wont recognise the sim from the A6. It knows its an o2 sim, but doesnt know the phone number that sim related to.

Is there a way of geting the phone number from the s6 sim to work in the A71?

I have even tried just the s6 sim in the A71, and it still isnt recognised

Of course it is....and still working in the s6
