I don't seem to be seeing Wifi Calling recently.

How can you force Wifi Calling on an iPhone 12 ?

I confirmed that it is switched on from O2's end and

it is also switched on, on my iPhone.

You can test by putting phone in airplane mode and turning on wifi, but in normal use it switches to wifi calling automatically.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

If you are in a location where there is no O2 signal should you be

able to get Wifi Calling or do you need a minimum network signal

for it to kick in ?

On iPhones you can't choose a priority so it should kick in when there's no signal, however, it should still show wifi call on the top of the screen when enabled.

Only works on contract phones, not PAYG.

Does the O2 Cell Network needed to be switched on for this to happen,

even if there is no signal ?

I can confirm the my WiFi Calling works with Airplane Mode on and WiFi on - Just made a few calls on the WiFi Network of St Mary’s Hospital Paddington !

I think it depends on what WiFi network you are on.
