Since my account switched from Virgin to o2 my signal is very temperamental. It often says no service, I can’t make or receive calls. How can this be fixed? Do I need a new SIM card?

@Sar_mak11

You can try a new sim but you may have been running on EE network before so the O2 signal in your area may just be rubbish.

Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

You probably need a new O2 sim card

Call into a store with photo ID and they will replace it for you

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 using the links below, they should be able to help you with this

or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202

You will not have been running on EE that went 18 months ago, Vodafone followed but by last Christmas everyone had been moved to O2 signal

I would start with a proper O2 SIM before anything else.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
