Unlocking an Huawei P Smart spoke to O2 twice wrong code provided

Just wondering if anyone can help.

 

Have spoken to O2 chat twice. Obtained NCK code twice which is 12 digits, entered twice. Wrong code. Verified.

 

Phone model is Huawei P Smart FIG - LX1 3 years old before 2018 when they are all unlocked.

 

So i put in new activated sim and am asked for sim network unlock code NCK. So it is O2 network locked. They are supplying the wrong unlatching code.

 

It is not puk code locked or network blocked. Just overcomplicated nonsense, which is not addressed correctly.

 

Not sure where to go from here, could anyone direct the correct process.

Just so you are aware o2 are providing you with the code provided to them by Huawei.

It probably just needs escalating back to Huawei, which @jonsie has flagged one of the community managers to help with.

Okay brilliant, I see this forum is well on top of this kinda thing.

 

I just realise before its too late not going down the path of blocking phone.

 

I don't know if there was possible confusion becuase there are multiple types of Huawei P smart phone, whether its just newer models i dont know but I tried to insist this with the operators as even though they have the IMEI number I wanted to make sure  whether the phone model number was important.

 

It is in first post should anyone know.
