I am new to O2 and this is my fourth day and sim swap hasn’t taken place yet. I am not finding any reasonable answers. O2 website is throwing an error and online help said it would take 24 hours on Thursday but now it’s more than 72 hours and still not working. I think I need to visit O2 shop now. Why are we not keeping informed if there any any changes

Have you rebooted your phone (Turned it off and on). You need to do that and once old sim loses signal it means new sim is coming Online. However as you mentioned going into a shop, that might be your best bet . They would be able to swap everything over for you. You will need to take some ID.
