Hi I’ve been with O2 for over 10 years and now I’ve been abroad for a few months and my sim doesn’t seem to be working anymore. Why is this and how can I get it working again? Thanks in advance.

You need to contact O2 as you may have been restricted due to too much time abroad.
All numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling.
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You can also try saying "Upgrade" or "Fraud" to be connected to an advisor.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

is it PAYG or pay Monthly, and how long have you been abroad?
As if you have been overseas for over 6months and on PAYG and not used the sim card, it will have been disconnected as per the terms and conditions, and your credit forfeited.
You can ask Customer Services on 0344 809 0202 to see if it possible to reconnect the number in this situation, as sometimes it wont be possible t
If you are on Pay Monthly, then I would call Customer Services as it could be a faulty sim card or an account issue
