Is it a new SIM, @Vallabha? PAYG or PayMonthly? New phone or moved from another network to O2?

If you're new to O2, your sim is ready to use straightaway. Just pop it in your device and you're good to go. 
If you're new to O2 and you have a Pay As You Go sim, you'll need to top up to activate it. Guide How to Top Up (PAYG) 
If it's a new replacement sim, you need to do a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update 
Or if it is to replace one reported lost or stolen, contact customer services.
