Signal drops off

Why does all 4 of my o2 sim accounts keep dropping off during a phone call, my line goes silent for 8 to 15 seconds and then comes back on meanwhile I’ve missed part of a conversation. This has been happening since way last year and I’ve reported it but to no avail and no compensation this is all in my BB1 post code area Blackburn
