Had my series 5 watch week or so and battery life is miserable barley makes it through the day that’s having its best feature AOD turned off I don’t use other than checking notifications and goals really
As for wearing to bed to track sleep is impossible as it’s flat come morning and not handy if have to get up for work and have no time to charge so seems pretty pointless is the watch Fualty? Had many smart watches and normally last days on a single charge , tried hard rest few times doesn’t help pretty poor really

Yes, sorry.

I missed the bit about a week old.

If faulty, you can get a new replacement within the first 28 days.

You'll need to call customer service.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
When it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
8.00am is the best time to call if you can.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Sounds faulty.

Mine last 36 hours easily and that's with moderate usage.

Might be worth getting it checked by Apple.

I’m mean it’s poor I have to turn off all it’s useful features like monitoring, AOD , raise to wake screen time out etc and have display brightness on its lowest setting about every 10 mins I look at it and I’ve lost another 2% to 3% just ridiculous really
