I “supposedly” changed my contract from pay monthly to payg on the 16th July, I was told a migration form had been filled in and my old number would be transferred with 24/48 hours. To date (28th July) I still do not have my old number! I have spoken to O2 about 8 times, spending so much time on the phone and I have still not got anywhere. Have I lost my old number? No one will tell me, they keep promising me that it would be sorted but I still have no closure, I need to know as I cannot access work emails without my old number and I haven’t changed over to a new number in case I can still keep the old one. Please someone let me know what is going on!

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 using the links below, they should be able to help you with this

or give them a call on 202  or 0344 809 0202  (contract) 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG

Persist with O2 via phone at 08:10am or so, or via Social Media (links just below this post) @Jfw54 - the move you want is covered in this guide, O2 seem to have forgotten this basic bit of admin: Guide: Migration & porting into O2

Good luck:
