Phone not working in EU

I recently got an O2 Sim to use for calls while in their EU countries included in the tariff, but when I got to Greece, calls 'failed' and no one can call my phone either... any one know how to fix this? I am on the £20 a month pay as you go plan that includes international minutes... so I am unsure why it does not work. PLEASE HELP!

Greece has turned off 3g so you need to use 2g for calls.

Either that or try manually searching for a different Greek network which will automatically switch to to 2g for calls.

Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

It's not possible to select 2g only on an iPhone unfortunately.

You'll need to try different networks by doing a manual network search.
