Hi, I used to have an email account with O2. Unfortunately I didn't change that address with my gp and so now we have gone into lockdown, my shielding email will have gone to that old email. I have tested the email and it still obviously receives emails, as I didn't get a 'not deliverable' notice when I sent a mail from my now account.
Is there any way that I can get onto my old account, as I need that shielding email as evidence for my employer. Otherwise at least can O2 close down accounts so that senders of emails at least get a bounce back email notifying that the email address no longer exists.
Thank you

O2 email closed down completely at least 3 years ago.
You'll need to give your GP a new address to send to you.

Thank you for your reply - I realise it closed down a few years ago, I had the nightmare of trying to save emails and transition them for a legal case. Its just that it is still not sending 'postmaster undeliverable' notices to any sender, so there must be an element of them that is still not rejecting undelivered emails.
The shielding emails don't come from the gp, NHSe use the information that gp's hold to send relevant info. Of course realising today that people on support groups for conditions have received emails from the government, I've checked and changed the address with the gp. Unfortunately the emails have already been sent, so I will now not get one as evidence for my employer. If O2 sent a 'undeliverable notice' it would have triggered me getting a letter in the post.

We've had others saying the same about not getting undeliverable notifications but no one seems to know where they are going to.
