Hi,

Whenever I try to use O2 WiFi on my phone, it connects OK but when I try to actually use it, chrome and other browsers shows 'This site can't provide a secure connection'

No public wifi is secure and should not be used for doing anything of a sensitive nature, ie banking etc.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Yeah but Google is using the wifi connection?
I'm guessing you're maybe using an iPhone too as mine has started telling me many different connections aren't secure recently. Probably since the iOS14 update or thereabouts.

@BMChris

The Error is from the webpage you are trying to access, and not o2 wifi, and is usually down to proxied traffic.
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

Check your date and time are correct on phone (use auto settings) and clear cache and cookies from Google chrome.

Try clearing your browsing history too.
