Hi
I have ordered a new phone yesterday via Mobile Phones Direct, I am still with O2 and keeping the same number, do I need to cancel my direct debit with O2?

No, you will continue to pay through the same direct debit.
You'll need to cancel your old contract though unless this was an upgrade?

You'll need to call customer service to migrate your number to the new contract as you will probaby be paying for two now.

Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.

Hi @Jane1971 hope you're well. I noticed you asked about your contracts and direct debit a couple of days ago here and got some advice above - don't hesitate to ask if you need any further advice anytime. It would be great to hear back from you to see if you're all sorted now?
