Hello

Does anyone know how long it takes for o2 to automatically disconnect a number if it is inactive? I want to keep my PAYG number "alive" until the time comes that I can make it my main driver (contract). I've spoken to o2 but I get different answers ranging from 1 month all the way up to 6 months.

Basically, I will top up my PAYG number with £10 every X months, in order to ensure o2 does not automatically disconnect the number. At the moment, I will do this every 5 months based on the last phone call I had with o2 but I'm left unsure.

Thanks for reading!

@fnanfne

You need a chargeable phone call or a top up at least once every 6 months.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
