Payed bill over 24 hours ago and still no service, tried restarting phone and no joy. Any ideas?

It can take up to 48 hours - try rebooting your phone. Bear in mind it is also weekend, things internally in O2 run a little more slowly at the weekend.
You can also check with customer service on these numbers Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support if you have the patience to keep retrying until you get onto the call queue at this late stage of the day.
