Hi, i have just purchased a new phone to give to my partner as a christmas present. Obviously i had to do this in my name and the phone has been delivered to me today. BUT it seems the number for the phone has been added to my o2 account and is showing on the Myo2 app along with my proper one. Once my partner has the phone she will want to keep her orihinal number so i guess ishe will have to visit the local o2 store after christmas to get it swapped over. The number that came with the new phone doesnt need to be on myo2 page so can it be removed please.

In that case you just need to put your partners sim card in the new phone...

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

@Baz65

If you are paying the bills and the phone was setup in your name, then it will be on your o2 and can't be removed.

If your partner is already on o2 then follow the guide below, bare in mind they will have to pay off anything remaining on there current contract, and you can't transfer the contract to their name, they will have to pass a credit check etc, and you will have to pay off the device plan immediately.

If on another network they will need to get a PAC code from their current network

Guide: Migration & porting into O2

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
