Hi @Catherine81 - Both you and your son need to follow the guidance in here first: Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

Then if you have good WiFi at home, and capable handsets, look here for switching on Voice over WiFi on your phones: https://www.o2.co.uk/help/network-coverage-and-international/wifi-and-4g-calling

Then you need to message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this, and keep using the O2 network status checker tool daily until your local mast issue is addressed. Good luck!

@Catherine81

Nothing to do with CPW as they dont run any mobile phone networks they run a little MVNO on 3 called ID Mobile and Virgin again are an MVNO on Vodafone and EE.

Check the o2 status, to see if there are local issues with a mast at https://status.o2.co.uk and download the o2 My Network app and then report the issues.

If you want to leave o2 and are still in your minimum terms you will have to pay off your device plan if on refresh or if not any termination fees

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
