Mobile phone repair purgatory

I handed my phone in to repair and I seem to be stuck in some sort of mobile repair purgatory l and not even reach the repair centre....

My tracking shows:

2024/03/28

Device awaiting reception in repair Centre

2024/03/26

The product is packed and ready to be shipped

2024/03/16

The device is ready to be shipped by the store to the repair centre

Any idea when I should expect my phone back? It's already been 16 days with most of that time being spent with my phone gathering dust in the shop?!
