Hi all, really hope someone can help.

Upgraded from iPhone 12 to a 14 plus and got a new SIM on 27th June.

I restored the phone from a back up from earlier in the day from my laptop.

The mobile seems to drop out when I move to an area of bad signal, as you would expect but then  if I move back to good signal it doesn't reconnect.
The 5G doesnt fall back on 4G or even 3G it just disconnects all together.

Ive tried another SIM swap and had no joy.
Ive reset the network settings and had no joy.

The data does work of I turn the phone off and on but the disconnects again a few hours later.

Ive got all the up to date APN settings.

Ive called customer service twice to be told they will escalate it with the technical team but im still waiting to hear back.

I need help I cant survive the next two years having to turn the phone off and on again 10 times a day… please HELP

@Apone1337

Start by getting Apple to check the phone Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple (UK)

If they say it's OK we can go from there, if not, they will replace the phone for you.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Okay so took phone to apple shop, diagnostics in store found no issues, but they are sending away for in depth diagnostics.

They gave me a loan phone, and the problem still persists.

I've just been into the local O2 shop and done another SIM swap but I think its clear there an error on my account somewhere.

still waiting for o2 tech support to contact me.

Any luck @Apone1337? You might persist with them through social media if you haven't heard back.
