Deleted messages keep reappearing on fb messenger

You could try deleting and reinstalling the app, other than that, contact FB to report it.

This is a known and longstanding problem. If you Google for "Deleted messages keep reappearing on fb messenger" you will get lots of hits, including this from The Verge that dates from 2018 :-

There are some suggestions as to how to deal with this ; you would need to read a few or the articles to try to ascertain what might work for you.

Remove the use FB Messenger as an SMS client and stop the syncing of SMS to FB Messenger

Other than that try reddit, to see if anyone else has had the issue..
