Check the mobile data settings and the APN is set to mobile.o2.co.uk
It might also be worth contacting customer services via social media If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Bless you, thank you for your time and help. I will try as you suggested. Have looked on the mobile data settings and it does say o2 as my provider along with a lot more techy stuff I don't have a hope of understanding like proxy this and that. Oh well I guess that's all for the talented and obviously not for me to know 😂😂

It contains lots of tips and things to try including network settings etc.
