Galaxy S10 sometimes can't accept calls or text

I just bought an S10 and very rarely, when it's in standby, people will get in touch saying they've been calling and texting but can't get through. The phone shows no attempted calls or texts in its history. As soon as I attempt an outgoing call or text it fixes up and people can call me again. I had the exactly the same problem with my S6 which I just replaced for this reason. Any help gratefully received.
