Hi I recently upgraded my phone and every time I make or receive a call the person can’t hear me and it’s very faint and keeps dropping out even though it says I have signal I have checked the coverage and it’s not that as this happens in different places please can you help? O2 has worked fine for me for years it’s since I have switched to an iPhone.

It would seem to be a problem with either the phone or the sim card

Did you change the sim?

Do you have another phone to try the sim card in?

If it's the phone

You need to call customer service
Advice from an O2 Guru to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Choose the fraud option if necessary

@Chloe14

If you have a phone case or cover on it, try removing it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I changed the sim to a new sim could it be that? How would I order a new sim?

I have tested the phones microphone and everything works fine.

You can try a new sim by ordering from customer service

Is it possible to try the one you have in another phone?
