Hi. Samsung S22+. I have tried the suggestions previously i.e. turn off voicemail and dial **61*901*11*…# to extend my ring time but it doesn’t work. The MMI code starts but fails.  Any further ideas please

Have you disabled wifi calling

The code will fail unless you do so

This may have to be disabled by customer service

If you type *#61# what is it showing.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Just thought I would have a play this evening using my S20

Vodafone, Three and 1p Mobile all work. The O2 SIM does not, so that rules out the phone.

Might try it in an old phone if I get the chance

mmi codes have been screwed ever since O2 introduced wifi calling.

You have to call O2 to turn off wifi calling on your account.

It is not sufficient to turn it off on your phone.

Also, you need to send the code twice.

Once after O2 disable wifi calling, then again after you call to reactivate wifi calling, but before it is processed by the system, ie, before midnight on the day requested, as it will reset again to default if not.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@MANSO WiFi calling is where you should be looking, in response to your call for help on the guide Guide:How to Lengthen Ringtime on any O2 Mobile

Seriously O2, why have you set the phone to go to voicemail after only 15s? Why would you think that was a good idea? Especailly since you have broken the ability to change it. Don't you understand that those of us who run businesses find it important that customers can reach us rather than voicemail? I could turn voicemail off of course, but then those times when I can't answer the phone, I'd miss the chance of those customers leaving a message.

Just let us extend the ring period, it's not exactly asking for the moon is it? And it is important.
