Hi,

Thinking of switching to ESIM, so I can free up my physical SIM slot for travelling

 I’m on pay monthly, how would I switch?

Also, how is support from O2 on esims?

@Safwan

You need to get a sim pack from O2 and do a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

You can also go in store and they will do it for you.

Take photo ID with you if you do that.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Have O2 not yet implemented the new simpler methods Apple introduced back in their Sep.2022 support article on this:

"About eSIM on iPhone": https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT212780

Do users still have to get yet another new eSim pack from O2 just to move eSim from iPhone-to-iPhone

The process is quite inconvenient, I hope O2 amend it, especially as the upcoming iPhone is expected to be E Sim in more countries.
