You need to call O2 and ask them to remove any roaming bar on your account.

@Bev61

If you have an iPhone, you need to ask O2 to add iData to your account.

With iData, you can use the apn of "idata.o2.co.uk"

If you don't have iData bolt on you can just change your apn to "mobile.02.co.uk" when abroad.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Same problem with me. O2 assured me before we left London that we can use data as if we are in the UK! No such luck. Ridiculous.
