@AdieMacl

It could be accidental roaming.

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

You will have logged onto the Mobile Network in Morocco, as the signal does come into Gibraltar, and around the Spanish coast through La Linea, and Tarifa, it is usually IAM (Maroc Telecom) or Meditel..

Unfortunately as @MI5 says this is accidental roaming, and nothing o2 can do about it, as its your responsibility to check you are connected to the likes of GibTel, or Telefonica/Movistar, and one of the Moroccan networks will have billed o2 for your sim card been connected to their network.

I have been working in Gib for 10 years, and we have always warned people of this phenomena

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
