hi, I'm in Israel and need data. 02 suggested to get Data Roaming Zone 3 Allowance. It cost something like £29. It has already in the space of a few hours - and hardly any phone usage - used 80 per cent of that data. This is obviously wrong and a ripoff - how can this happen?

Unless you have travel bolt ons, the roaming data charges are a rip off unfortunately.

Best to just use wifi where you can or get a local sim card for data use.

I think that buys you a 100MB of data. It's not much. I used that on Tuesday when away from home for a few hours and I did nothing that could be classified as heavy use

What does your phone say you have used?

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
